Mount Shasta Serpentine
The dark green, or in this case Emerald green Serpentine is occluded with Magnetite. The lighter greens are not. Magnetite magnifies, intensifies and draws to it all the qualities of the stone that it is occluded with. This makes the Mount Shasta Serpentine a very powerful spiritual tool.
Serpentine is useful in the opening of energy or emotional blockages in the energetic and physical bodies. It does this without causing the spiritual or emotional crises often associated with such work. While raising the Kundalini, it also anchors one’s energy to the Earth.
All Serpentine contains various amounts of asbestos sealed within it. This allows the stone to handle the emotions in the psyche that are” too hot to handle” in order to undo these blockages.
The stone normally needs to be activated by meditation or energy work. The Emerald green stone does not…therefore be forewarned. It will bring about powerful changes if worn or in near proximity. When the owner of this stone feels avoidance for it instead of the normal enjoyments, it is saying it is time for transmutation. If one is not ready to face the energy or emotional blockages, then put the stone quietly away for another day. This stone will do a lot of talking if you listen.
Placement of the stone on any affected area of the body will help with the flow of energy and health through that area. It enhances mediation, inner sight and the growth of individual consciousness. Serpentine can render assistance to disorders in all areas of the body and all four lower bodies; spiritual, mental, emotional and physical
Serpentine is called the Seal of God and is associated with Archangel Raziel, who is the keeper of the secrets of God. The raising of the Kundalini becomes the power an individual uses to self-heal as one progresses on the spiritual journey through life. It is a stone best suited for the individual seeker and not the “groupie” or “joiner”. The stone can be used in any manner of occult, spiritual or psychic practices a s a personal tool rather than a divination tool for others.
Serpentine has been in use since 4000 B.C. in Egypt. It is thought to be one of the stones on the breastplate of the Jewish High Priest.
It is found all over the world in fault zones. There it facilitates smooth safe movement within a fault. It is formed when water is super-heated deep in the Earth. Becoming very acidic, it leeches out the minerals and metals from the rock. It raises through the cracks in the fault zones and crystallizes as Serpentine.
